My legal practice is dedicated to providing efficient, effective solutions to protect the integrity of my clients’ trademarks and intellectual property. I work closely with businesses to register trademarks, resolve disputes with competitors, and ensure that their brands remain strong and protected in the marketplace. From filing trademark applications to handling disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), I am committed to helping businesses navigate the legal challenges of brand protection.

Before founding Richins Law Group, I gained significant experience at Locke Lord, an Am Law 100 firm, where I handled complex commercial litigation and high-stakes disputes in industries ranging from energy to financial services. This experience gave me a strong foundation in resolving intricate legal disputes, which I now apply to trademark and brand protection matters.

In addition to my legal career, I am also a violinist and former orchestra teacher. Before law school, I taught orchestra for several years, and I continue to teach music through a small private studio and volunteer at a local school in Richmond. This background brings a creative, collaborative approach to my legal practice—helping me think outside the box when developing strategies for protecting intellectual property and solving brand-related disputes.

I also collaborate with Cherry Johnson Siegmund James, PLLC on larger patent litigation matters that require a team-based approach. Recently, CJSJ secured one of the 20 largest verdicts in the country in a high-stakes patent case, demonstrating their ability to achieve outstanding results in complex intellectual property litigation.
